If you love a story you want to see it evolve and introduce characters to see them struggle to the top. If you placed the character at the top or make them climb a step stool as their arch versus everyone else who took the hard path then what's the point. Plus pushing modern day garbage such as sexuality and biological sex politics down people's throats will make anyone to rebuke against it. You don't want me to rant about my politics as I don't want to hear yours. The "creatives" at Disney ignores the both of us and interjects their politics and destroys the fundamentals of which that universe survived upon. In sense, don't think it's cool to hate something when people are passionate about the world they co-exist in.

We have Disney and their Lucasfilm acolites, which hate the original fans and try to mock them at almost every turn they can (exception made of John Fabreu, who was the guy who brought the first 2 seasons of Tha Mandalorian), and then you have 'the fans', who do not like the direction of the Franchise, and are sick and pissed of being called several kinds of -ists and -phobes by Disney and their Lucasfilm acolites because of that, even if their complains have nothing to do with any kind of gender, race or similar.

Because they completely bastardized not only potential storylines, but also ruined the redemption and now birth of Anakin Skywalker.

People who enjoy the art for what they see on screen are not the fans who hate what Star Wars has become. Those who hate it fervently are the ones who dig deeper into the workings and machinations, the ones who want the scenes behind the curtain to be to their liking as well as what is on the screen. To be fair, the people in charge give them plenty to find upsetting. If you watch the stuff that has come out independent from the buzz, you can even enjoy the Rey trilogy. If you listen to all the hype and back talk, then it becomes a problem.

My problem with Disney Star Wars isn’t that it’s necessary bad (even though it is). My problem is that they actively degrade and take away from original characters like Luke, Han and Boba Fett, all ruined. They also ruin lore and take importance away from characters like Anakin by making Rey the chosen one. That’s why real Star Wars fans hate Disney, it’s not just bad but they’re also taking away from real Star Wars. It feels personal or something, leave the originals alone.
